Patient Perspective @ ECCO2017

ECCO2017 is the European Cancer Congress where the new treatments of value to patients and applicable to the daily practice will be presented and discussed.  To help you decide what will genuinely impact the treatment and care of your patients, expert patients will provide their perspective in several scientific sessions of ECCO2017.

The ECCO Patient Advisory Committee (ECCO PAC) has worked together with the scientific track chairs to enrich the scientific programme with the patient perspective. The views of expert patients will be provided in the critical reviews of presented trials and their implication in practice will be discussed in all organ tracks. Several changing practice sessions will also include the patient perspective.

The newly established Primary Care track in the ECCO Congress will discuss integrated models of cancer management with the views of patient advocates on how to bring primary care and secondary care together.

In addition, the Patient Advocacy track will present and discuss topical issues for patients and survivors where all Congress delegates can learn, share and explore areas for collaboration.
