The European Cancer Congress 2017' is designated for a maximum of (or 'for up to') 21 hours of European external CME credits.

Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.

Through an agreement between the European Union of Medical Specialists and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert
EACCME credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Information on the process to convert EACCME credit to AMA credit can
be found at

Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognized by the UEMS-EACCME for ECMEC credits are deemed to be Accredited Group
Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

EACCME credits
Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity. The EACCME credit system is
based on 1 ECMEC per hour with a maximum of 3 ECMECs for half a day and 6 ECMECs for a full-day event.

Language and Translation

The official language of the Congress is English. No simultaneous translation will be provided.

Lunch and Refreshments

Lunch or refreshments are not included as part of the registration fee.

Delegates are encouraged to use public transport as much as possible. Information on timetables and ticket pricing are easy to find by visiting:

RAI Amsterdam is easy to reach by both public transport or by car and has ample parking facilities on and outside its site. RAI Amsterdam is situated 8 minutes from Amsterdam’s city centre and 15 minutes from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. Taxi’s will also be available at RAI Amsterdam.

By train:

By tram, metro or bus:
Tram 4 runs between the RAI (Europaplein stop), Amsterdam’s city centre and Amsterdam Central Station.

By car:
The RAI is immediately signposted on roads signs on the ring road drivers end up on after approaching Amsterdam from the A1 motorway (Amersfoort/Amsterdam), the A2 (Utrecht/Amsterdam) or the A4 (Den Haag [The Hague]/Amsterdam). RAI Amsterdam is situated right next to the ring road (Exit 9). The RAI’s car parks are signposted immediately after leaving the ring road.

By plane:
Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is located a mere 15 minutes from RAI Amsterdam whether you travel by car, train, taxi or bus.
